Reinhardt University

Georgia Teen Institute is held at Reinhardt University, in Waleska, GA. Located in the heart of the North Georgia Mountains, Reinhardt became home to Georgia Teen Institute’s summer program in 2025. With its combination of historical buildings and state of the art technology on a small, easily walkable campus, Reinhardt University is uniquely suited for Georgia Teen Institute’s summer program. Though they love having us on campus, Reinhardt University is not affiliated in any way with Georgia Teen Institute program.

Though experiencing college life isn’t a main focus of the Georgia Teen Institute, over the years many participants have shared that their time on a college campus is what inspired them to apply to college. It is for this reason that the program has continued to be held on a college campus, allowing participants to get a taste of college life. Over the course of the five day program, participants spend time experiencing various elements of campus. Large group sessions are held in a college auditorium, small group sessions, including workshops, are held in classrooms, and participants have access to recreational facilities during free time. Further reinforcing the college experience are the meals, held in Reinhardt’s Dining Hall, and lodging in dormitories.
